ok, so i was thinking of this list
170 Farseer: doom, fortune, stones, jetbike
275 Warlocks x 5 w/ 3 destructor embolden enhance
152 Jetbike x 6 w/ 2 shuricannons
152 Jetbike x 6 w/ 2 shuricannons
152 Jetbike x 6 w/ 2 shuricannons
180 fire dragon x 5 in a serpent w/ shuricannon
180 fire dragon x 5 in a serpent w/ shuricannon
120 walker x 3, Shuricannon x 6
180 walker x 3, Scatter laser x 6
180 walker x 3, Scatter laser x 6
1741
dragons to take care of landraiders and heavy armor, council to survive and be annoying, and walkers to provide a bunch of wounds. i wouldnt group them together to avoid multiple charges. of course abuse cover. i was thinking maybe the jetbikes can babysit the walkers till its time to claim objectives. i know there are no brightlances, but i think theyre too expensive and unreliable, i would rather throw away the dragons and guarantee some kills.
i was thinking maybe this too, vypers could snipe, and contest late game as well.
- 152 jetbike squad
+ one fire dragon in each squad
+ spirit stones on serpents
+ 2 vypers with shuricannons
or another option, remove the jetbike squad and add 2 groups of 10 guardians to provide screens for the walkers
any tips would be appreciated. i have not played eldar, but i picked up a cheap jetbike army. i am just missing the walkers, and money is not an issue.

The guardian idea is good, or possibly use them to hold a close objective whilst providing some long range support. Three sqauds of six jetbikes makes 18 troops, T 4 with a 3+ save. That's pretty much a fast space marine. I think that the enemy might not have too much trouble killing your troops, which could be bad if your playing with objectives to capture. The guardians add to your troop count and can provide fire support.
You should also be careful of assault armies like orks or tyranids, even though you do have loads of anti infantry fire. As most of your units are shooty units, getting assaulted could mean the end of them. Maybe you could have a small unit of Banshees or Scorpions to counter attack if needed. The scorpions could be useful because they can have move through cover, which could be valuable for repositioning.

Minimum for guardians is 85 pts. Honestly, guardians would cripple your list, everything else in the list can get out of the way, or outflank, the guardians would be too slow and too weak, the heavy weapons would mean that they could not move, which is a no no. As for the vypers, even in groups of two there a little bit too squishy..

Guardian Heavy weapon can move and fire.
Though I agree that the guardians would be a bit awkward for this list. I like the idea of a jebike heavy list, but be warned that at Ldr 8 152 pts of jetbikes have a very high chance of running of the field after just 2 members lost.

Guardian Heavy weapon can move and fire.
Could you tell me what page that is, I was looking through my eldar codex for the longest time but could not find it.

Yup that's it. It's just covertly worded, "a heavy weapon mounted on a guardian platform counts as an assault weapon in all respects".

Don't take vypers they suck. And I wouldn't lose any sleep about not taking lances. Bright lance is hands down the most overpriced unreliable weapon choice of the eldar. I would suggest dropping the war walkers with the shuricannon and adding warlocks with embolden and singing spears to the jetbikes squad so they can last longer moral wise and be able to hunt transports. After all a singing spear is basically a short range lascannon.

Thanks for that neat reference, and vypers don't suck, they're better than alot of other eldar units...

I don't really like jetbikes as troops, anymore. Too much kills them. And I own 24 GJB

The fact that vypers are not the worst eldar unit doesn't mean they don't suck

What do you base this on?
Have you ever used GJB to assault move in front of Vypers after they shoot to get 4+ cover save for Vypers?
Saying they suck for the sake of saying it, means little.

I'm saying they suck because they are too expensive for a unit with a mere bs3 and don't tend to do too much of anything. My point is that you can spend those points on something useful like war walkers

You mean like... almost all of the eldar unit selections?
mere bs3 and don't tend to do too much of anything. My point is that you can spend those points on something useful like war walkers
Ok... So you compensate for the BS3 with a LOT of shots, same as for warwalkers...
Warwalkers are a better buy, but A) They take up a crucial heavy support slot. B) They're great, if one thing is great, something inferior doesn't automatically suck.

In my book if you can get something better for the same cost and purpose then yeah it means it sucks.

Springlevel... If someone were to bring a cheesy cookie-cutter VC army, and someone were to bring, a competitive brettonian army, does that mean the bretonian army sucks? No, one is just great/cheesey/overpowered, Same thing here, No.

No because that would be comparing vyper with something potent, but that's not the point, the point is that it cost's much and doesn't deliver the sufficient result so by my logic it sucks. And yes I would say the bretonian army suck: sucks by comparison. Everything is relative, and I would say that compared to the other choices the eldar have at the same cost this one sucks. Even without comparing I think it sucks because it just doesn't do much.

LMAO
Vypers are fast moving vehicles. You can screen them with GJB after they shoot.
Downside...They are open topped, BS 3
Guide from Seer is option.
Play a list with Vypers and Walkers. Your opponent will be squeeling.
