Hey all, I've been browsing the blogs/threads on dakka for a couple weeks...decided it was time to sign up. Mostly been browsing Warhammer 40K conversions and painting, but hey, to each their own.
Not new to tabletop gaming, though I have gotten few opportunities to play. Dropped out of it for a while when the rules went from 3rd to 4th edition (couldn't afford much at that time)... but some of my bu),ddies have "hassled" me back into playing a bit more often again. Forgot how much I enjoyed playing 40K.
I am actually dealing with a couple conversion ideas (probably not new or original, just fun  ). I actually just realized that I need to re-work some of my army because of the change in troops for Chaos Marines. I was running plain old Black Legion... but since (if I am reading the codex right) you can use any CSM as a troop choice, I am thinking Plague Marines, or Noise Marines. Perhaps a squad or two to mix in with my more "standard" CSMs.
Like I said, been out of it for a while, so there is some adjustment, and some re-learning needed. Still fun though, and that's the part that matters most right? Anyhow, I just wanted to pop on and somewhat introduce myself. Though there isn't a whole lot to tell at the moment.

Ha ha ha! Yeah, BUT the Noise Marines get extra initiative, plus some neato weapons of their own. However, I definitely plan to run some Plague Marines in there. They cost more points wise, but are harder to kill. The two people I play with most run Tau, and Blood Angels.
