Simple-battle (he didn't know his special rule yet)

My SM's
Space marine captain w/ storm bolter, lightning claws artificer armour, hellfire rounds 143 points

Space marine tactical squad
10 men, heavy bolter and flamer, sergeant had power fist and plasma pistol

Orks
had 2 mobs of 20 orks, 2 had big shoota's. (260 points?)
one ork warboss w/ power klaw and shoota
one nobz mob
one deffkopta squad of 3.


Scene: in a bleak outpost, a small detachment of space marine soldiers comes under attack from a sizeable enemy force of orks.

Deployment: space marines start in a small out-post type building in the middle of the field, orks can start 6" anywhere (6' x 4' battlefield.)

mission: annihilation

Offence gets to go first.

Turn one.
Orks
Movement: everything, being either assault or pistols charges the bastion.
Shooting player decides it's not enough to hit 6 times with big shoota's and decides to run. one squad gets 4" the other 2" and the nobz 6". the warboss moves in only 1".
Assault: N/A
Space marines
Movement: not wanting to loose their position, the space marines forward onto to the very top of the bastion (just big enough to fit 21 models.)
Shooting: nothing could shoot in that turn, because they didn't have the range or they moved.
Assault: N/A
Turn two.
Orks
Movement: The orks draw ever closer to the bastion, moving in a further 6".
Shooting: still dissatisfied with only 6 attacks, he runs again, with (same order) 6" 4" 2" 3".
Assault: N/A
Space marines
Movement: N/A
Shooting: only my plasma cannon can hit this turn, finding a position with 5 ork boys. with instant death and a 2+ To wound, 3 hit, 2 wound, none negate.
Assault: N/A
(Summary: 20 tactical marines, 1 SM captain -- 38 ork boys, 5 nobz, 1 ork warboss.)
Turn three.
Orks
Movement: suffering two losses the squads move in ever faster.
Shooting: alas, still not satisfied with 6 attacks, he charges once more with 1"6"3"1".
Assault: N/A
Space marines
Movement: captain moved out to meet the onslaught, the h.bolter squad moved down to the lower parapet to get a closer shot.
Shooting: Taking up their chances, the plasma cannon struck once more. this time finding 5 nobz, it took it's hits. though not IK, the squad took all five wounds at 4+2+. with almost half the squad dead, my opponent plan starts to tremble. Captain runs in 4"
Assault: N/A
(20 tactical, 1 captain -- 38 orkz 3 nobz 1 warboss)
Turn four.
reserves arrive!
Orks:
Movement: as his main forces is finally within 18 inches of me, his deff koptas rush in from the side! they're within 24" of me.(deployed on his side of the battle field -- anywhere)
Shooting: all squads run, 6',4',5',2'. the deffkoptas take their toll against the AV 13 bastion, and although there are three of them only one manages to penetrate, getting a stunned result, the main bunker takes a smashing stunned - which is great for me, if it had blown up the entire building would have collasped, and I had noone in that part of the building.

Space marines
Movement: Space marine captain moves in as fast as he can. (6" away from a boyz squad.)
Shooting: SM captain fires 2 quick shots at the orkz, causing one unsaved wound. the rest of the marines focus their fire on the deffkoptas. (that's one plasma cannon, rifle, a heavy bolter and 14 bolters.) scoring one hit from the cannon and two from the plasma, and 9 from the bolters, though they're tuff-stuff they take heavy casualties - very heavy - and loose the entire squad.
assault: captain charges in with all his force, causing all three 'to hit' and two 'to wound' results, with no saves, the squad is down to 16 orks! of the 7 that could reach hims 14 attacks, 3 manage to hit and 1 manages to wound -- negated by AS 2+.
(1 captain 20 marines -- 36 orks 3 nobz 1 warboss)
Turn five.
Orks:
Movement focusing his entire force towards my captain, moving everything within 12" of him -- but nothing can shoot because they may hit orks!
Shooting one squad is caught, the rest run in 3" 2" 4" 2".
assault: caught in an assault, the orks continue to fight my captain. my captain hits for three kills while they create no wounds -- down to 13 models!
Space marines:
Movement: N/A
Shooting: loading their entire bear down on the very close orks, both tactical squads fire full-throttle, with the cannon scattering and ending up hitting the 2 nobz and warboss, and the rest hitting boyz, 31 bolters fire, along with 5 plasma surges and 3 hit by a flamer, 13 orkz die along with both nobz. the warboss takes a single wound. -- one squad gives up and route!
Assault: the captain wounds a further three, and now the squad is down to 10 models, and my captain takes 1 wound.
(1 captain w2, 20 marines -- 10 orks 1 nob 1 warboss w2 7 orks MIA)
Turn six:
the big showdown
Orks
Movement all orks move within 6" of the captain, and are ready to assault -- assuming there is room for them!
Shooting: none may fire, lest they hit an ork.
Assault: Pile in! captain fells two more, and the boss gives him another wound!
Space marines:
still able to hit without hitting the captain, the 31 bolters plasma cannon and rifle have another go Against the remaining orks, shooting everything against the nob, they take their fire, killing him. the plasma cannon scatters directly over my captain, killing everyone, and bringing a close to my captain. -- all that remains is the warboss, with one wound.
(20 marines -- 1 warboss with 1 wound, 7 orks MIA)
turn 7:
the final hour
Orks:
Movement: warboss runs towards my building, unable to hit it.
Shooting: N/A
Assault: Jumps into da actshun and smeshes sum 'umies, killing three of my space marines, the remaining 7 take him out for good.
Space marines:
Movement: N/A
Shooting: N/A
Assault: N/A
If the orks had a few more long range weapons they might have stood a better chance against my space marines, as it was, they got nowhere, killing literally less then 20% of my army while sustaining almost 95% casualties.

he needed to get a codex, but it was a fun game for us both.
I got to teach a new player how to fight against space marines and we both went away with a newfound knowledge.

Sounds like it was a fun game. Remind your Ork player to use the bloody WAAAAGH! next time. I bet if he did that, it would of ended a bit differently. At least you would of felt more sting anyways lol.

Sounds like a good game. Some pictures would be nice. Some maps drawn on a drawing program are always helpful. Could be an idea if you make any more reports.
