Had a chance this weekend to do some wok on a number of orky terrain projects that have been littering my work area in various tsages of completion. I really want to bang these out before the new year.

First up the "squig pen":

This one is very WIP obviously, still need to do some construction/detailing, but the basic structure is there. I plan to play this as an area of dangerous terrain (due to hungry squigs) that is impassable to vehicles(due to pen fences acting as tank traps). The big squig will be chained o the plate in the center, and I'll add some other squigs as well that can be moved around to facilitate placing models, etc.

Next an orky fuel tank:

This one is primed and some wear done, but still WIP as far as painting/weathering, etc. I'm not sold 100% on the bit the large pipe goes into and may swap that out.

Next is something to let attackers know that the ork fort belongs to my Warboss:

Last a very WIP (just mocked up at this point) orky bastion made from Stompa hulls:

The main feature will be the "draw bridge" style entry (lowered by chains) and a flat roof for the boyz and to mount defense guns on, etc. I plan to do a ring of fortification line around the hill as well so those outside defending it have some cover...

C&C welcome...

Very good looking terrain, the only problem I have is that you defiled a Stompa to create terrain.

Actually I bought the stompa bitz from both a bitz service and some in a trade, so no actual Stompa was injured or mistreated in the creation of this terrain...

Wow i like your squig pen ^^ very origonal idea...you should have a trough in there with snotlings inside ^^

Oh and i like the bastion.....but surely even though it was swapped out bits, surely, a stompa kit has been mercilessly taken apart and sent of all over the country in different packs.....

one day the stompa bits will all find there way into the same room, and then they'll be angry ^^

love the entire scenery, orky terrain always looks amazing

It was initially an Inquisitor scale squig that I put together with some greenstuff and the back half of a toy dinosaur, but I don't play =I= anymore so now it is a 40k big mutated 'uge Gnasha squig:
