Ok, so how many Damaged-Weapon Destroyed results do I have to score on a Monolith before it runs out of weapons (or does it even run out of weapons-since Necrons come back to life, do weapons grow back?) and the next result is either Damaged-Immobilized or, if that has already happened, Destroyed-Wreaked?

Kill the mutant, burn the heretic, purge the unclean!!!!

There are just three simple rules to follow: If I charge, follow me. If I retreat, kill me. If I die, avenge me.

"A Templar Knight is truly a fearless knight and secure on every side, for his soul is protected by the armor of faith, just as his body is protected by armor of steel. He is thus doubly armed and need fear neither daemons nor men."

By RAW, it never loses weapons for weapon destroyed, and it gains shots, too (due to the little known rules of arithmetic dealing with subtraction and negative integers)

"...for each weapon destroyed result, subtract -1 shots from the number of shots it can fire ..." (not verbatim).

You can only destroy a monolith by wrecked or destroyed results. You can never destroy its weapons (due to its own rules).

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

The monolith cannot be destroyed or rendered immobilized through multiple weapon destroyed results. You simply continue to remove one from the Gauss Flux Arc roll.

Why did the berzerker cross the road?

Chrome has it right. Luckily for us, that's not the only occurrence of GW not understanding how to subtract a negative. Check out the rules for Morale (especially when it pertains to close combat). I'll never play Orks again.

Though I've always found it fitting that Necrons, Lords of 'Glance it to death', have only one vehicle, which is also the only vehicle which can't be glanced to death.

As the other posters have said, the best you can hope for is to reduce the gauss flux to 0 shots (get 6 'weapon destroyed' results) but the monolith will still always have the power matrix and therefore the particle whip until it is destroyed.
