I am building my empire army, and one of my hero's is a mounted wizard.
From what I can tell GW does not sell one. Does anyone have a recomendation?

Well, Balthasar Gelt is mounted on a pegasus, if you purchase the model and place him on a horse you'll have your mounted wizard and a spare pegasus.

The new Wizard kit doesn't come with the option, but the older wizards had a mounted variant. Took a quick look at eBay and there's a good chunk of them there for purchase.

I use the damsels from Brets. Same freakin thing IMO

I have seen some nice conversions with the High Elf mounted Mage and the Empire Wizard kits.

If you check the local stores they may have them in blisters. I have two mounted empire wizards (They came in blisters with a mounted one and one on foot)

The old kit came with one mounted and one unmounted.

If you can't get hold of one, then kitbashing might need to be done unfortunately.
