Just wondering how a chaos force can be organised between different chaos legions and still fit the fluff? I know khorne and nurgle are good friends, but what would be the take on say, plague marines supporting noise marines?

All of the Chaos Gods have their own agenda. And most chaos lords etc have theirs (usually to win favor with their patron to become even stronger)

But at times their agendas can match (such as the black crusades) when they put their differences aside and work together to crush a common foe. Surely trying to get as far ahead as possible themselves.

Sometimes chaos can unite like when they did that in horus heresy, black crusades etc....

Chaos is fickle, and fickle means anything can happen.
That's why chaos is great!
Fluff-wise, black crusades are the easiest excuse to slap 'em all together, but there are many stories of various daemons chummin' together. And what the daemons do is a bit of a reflection of what the legions do (and/or vise versa).
Really though, anything involving mutual gain may bring any number of legions together. Mutual gain usually meaning, imperial losses...

Kinda like in the game itself.

There can be any reason for any team to ally with another. That's the beauty of the game. you get to use your imagination to make reasons for stuff to work out.

Like when playing I come up with scenarios where my guard can ally with a friends Orks to fight Necrons. (that ones easy) but some get a little crazy, such as Space Marines that stumble across some ancient relic that make them invisible temporarily (6 turns) to their Necron "Allies" to fight the Chaos who have made a pact with the Tau because they like the idea of "communism or something..."

and vise versa teams that are allied can come up with reasons to fight each other. like Ultra marines Vs. Cadian 8th! perhaps there was a miscommunication of objectives or something.

By the Emperor, we've won!

I like the idea of communist robots, for the greater cog.

with chaos it can always come down to "cause their god told them to" (or tzeetch manipulated it for its own indecipherable ends)

Once more down to the beach, dear friends, once more,
To drown our sorrows with our English beer!
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility;
But when the blast of alcohol blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger:
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood.

The only ones that are consistantly tricky are 'nids (except with guard called 'stealer cults) and necrons (who even hate humans dumb enough to worship them apparently)...
Orks are mercs. Will fight for the chance to fight... and for gunz. Orks are easy.
Chaos is easier.
Inquisition blokes are smart, so they're easy too.
Marines are goofy. 3rd in pain-in-the-assishness after 'crons and 'nids.
Guard's one of the easiest.
Eldar too, they're fickle. And can see the future (can the darkies do this too?).
Tau try to make everyone and everything joint he commune, so they're not too bad either.

Mostly just 'crons, 'nids and (bigot... er, loyal) marines are a pain in the ass.

With orks, even too many is not enough!

to be honest, i hate the new chaos view of thousand sons can be with khorne beserkers in the game it does not fit theh fluff that kind of stuff, and the codex has to be redun i mean look at all the special gak SM plaers get and chaos doesn't so like the the codex before, the books of chaos were genious i really liked them but now its just one big health fruit drink, the books of chaos section was like its own break off rules like how the space marines get black templars and dark angels ect.... you get the point.

so my final thought is chaos god dedicated legions can ally with chaos undivided chapters but should the forces be mixed should be a apocalypse formation only.

my idea of the ally system for chaos

Xenos:
orks-yes (dem chaoz boyz givin us sum big dakka and stuff and boss ses ye go for it so we kill dem weaker humies and probly bash dem chaos boys good later)
dark/eldar-no (and slaneesh is there arch nemesis)
tryanids-yes (hive mind pulled into eye of terror or in warpstorm or warprift) but to be manipulated is not fluff fitting
necrons-no (stargods are all they like)
tau-no/yes? (they would kill each over so the greater good is not corrupted BUT THIS COULD HAPPEN but i disagree to it mainly because i dislike tau)

Imperium:
guard-yes
space marines-NO (if they were then they would be chaos space marines )
inquisition-yes (traitor extreamus inquisitors BUT NO GREYKNIGHTS a grey knight has never fallen to corruption in the entire history of the chapter)
blood angles-yes (black rage and possibly manipulated by khrone)
dark angels-yes (fallen angels)
space wolves-yes (13th company break off of blood firsty killers that just want to kill)
black templars-no (same reason of normal space marines, and black templars have no history of chaos corruption)

To answer your last question PM's could support NM's if you really wanted
khorne is opposed to slannesh
nurgle is opposed to tzeentch
although they are all out for themselves in the end

different forces ally with each other but this tends to be in crusades and other large formations
even in these circumstances i would imagine they would be posted/deployed in seperate regions so as rivalry wouldnt be an issue

so a 2000pt army with all four cult troops in it wouldnt be considered 'correct' by some more puritan members.

@physcosamatic

tyranids yes and SM no?
then you contradict yourself and say yes to BAs of all chapters!

BA- no, their loyalty is above others (defended palace)

SM- yes, chapters have fallen and still fall. Others play near to the edge or do what they want. (relictors, soul drinkers, lamenters, mantis warriors, executioners to name a few)

tyranids- no, they represent a threat to chaos as much as the rest of the galaxy. Also anything 'warp' related would not work around them, (shadow in the warp) which for a servant of chaos would be highly anoying to say the least.

space wolves- nah pretty loyal unfortunately

but them the sm chapters become-chaos space marines so thats why i threw in that no, tyranids are a threat too but how could a hivemind defend itself if it was pulled into the warp. no chance and the 13th company space wolves? they are warp mutated

so when a chapter 'turns' it immediately gets rid of all its drop pods, LR variants, landspeeders, razorbacks, thunderfire cannons etc ??
no.
the SM codex would be a good way to represent a chapter who had newly turned traitor or one that was 'on the edge'/about to turn.

you are getting confused -a hive mind or hive SHIP?
but that dsnt change the fact tyranids cnt bargin so would never be able to ally with a chaos force
Nids want to consume all, chaos wants to dominate all, 2 seperate things

13th company still fight for the space wolves
the wulfen were wulfen before they went into the eye
they are no more warp mutated than death company
