Okay, so a question came up during a lively FLGS debate. The question centered around Aura of Acquiescence and Cloud of Flies.

In the entry for both, at the bottom is says (but receive no strength bonus in close combat against vehicles).

Does this mean that the Keeper of Secrets only get 2d6 when assaulting a vehicle? This doesn't seem right.

I took it to mean that they got their strength bonus and the 2d6 monstrous creature bonus, but no strength bonus from the grenades.

Any help is appreciated.

As you read it - as the line before is exclusively talking about hwo they work *as grenades* - and normal grenades have a strength bonus against vehicles.

Context is everything...

Yep, by strength bonus they mean like a krak grenade or something. A Keeper for example uses its own Strength not a strength bonus.

It's better to just use the natural S of the KoS coupled with 2d6 for hte armor penetrating.
