Could someone please give me a list of 40K tournaments that are going to be held in 2010? Even small ones; if your FLGS is hosting one, I want to know!

Basically what I'm looking for is:
- name of the tourney
- name of the store
- event date (roughly)

Any other info is just gravy.

It will be greatly appreciated.

Oh and does anyone know where in Vancouver Astronomi-con and ConQuest Annihilation will be held this year? Thanks.

I know the Vanhammer 40k site has many of them listed.

I don't know about ConQuest, though. I couldn't find any info, at least through Google.

Astronomi-con Vancouver is set for late August this time around. Last couple of years it was held at the UBC campus and I doubt that will change (great venue that Mike and Christian really like). A bunch of us from the states go to it every year -- its a blast!

There's a big con in february in Victoria: http://www.gottacon.com/ I know that might be a trekk for ya, but sounds pretty cool. It is on the NA circuit.

No word on the conquests for canada, and I figure the info will be last minute if my experience with the seattle one is any indication. I am considering hitting the Edmonton one at some point, dunno about Van though.

A-Club in Burnaby is having a 1500 point tournament on June 27 between 10am and 6pm. The are located on 6982 Palm Avenue.

1500 points of standard 40K.
Standard Force Organisation
Three games, each two hours in duration
Painting three colours minimum, please! No cheap grey knight (plastic), black templar (black primer) or white scars (white primer), PLEASE.

There will be unique missions for each game! Some will be new to you, so get ready to do some thinking.

A BBQ lunch will be available for purchase - burgers, hot dogs, chips, pop and all associated things!

Prizes will include unique A Club trophies, as well as Games Workshop gift certificates. There will also be door prizes and one person will win a free membership to A Club at a $60 value (must meet certain eligibility requirements).

Please arrange to reserve your spot by contacting a-club@shaw.ca or call Chris Jones at 604 307 6366.

Registration is $25, and Paypal is accepted ($27, as we get dinged by PayPal - hey, it's the price of convenience!). Alternately, you can come to A Club on Friday evenings and pay in person, or perhaps otherwise arrange to meet Chris in person.

You can also take your chances that space will be available and sign up at either GW Metrotown or GW Surrey but remember space is LIMITED!

You can email your army list to a-club@shaw.ca if you like. Army builder files are accepted, or PDF output from Army builder. Also please bring two copies of your list to the tournament.
