Thousand Sons Pre-Heresy style

Another idea that I was toying with, pre Heresy Era Thousand Sons!
The mini is based on a Mk IV Armour Black Templar, Scarabs are made of Greenstuff.

Agree 100% with this - I'm a sucker for pre-Heresy stuff and your marines are exceptionally nice. Any more Legions on the horizon?

Looks very good! I have done some PH Thousand Sons too (although don't have pictures of the 2 painted yet) and have gone for a similar style, although did not sculpt quite so impressive a scarab on the shoulder pad. The Black Templar torso adds a nice touch. I like the Custodes, too.

The only thing I have to point out are the legs - Pre Heresy Marks didn't have Knee-Guards. They were just solid shin guards. Otherwise, looks ace

I knew its; Someone will spot the Knee-Guards...

But did you know that per Imperial edict, 29336.12 the TH received the prototype knee pads of later generations just in time for the battle of Prospero?

Hmm... Never knew that

I don't see what's annoying about True LoS though. Technically, TLoS has been going on since the early days. Really there's nothing wrong with it, but rather the people that abuse the rule. That could be said for a lot of things though.
