Hey guys, im kinda new to Warhammer 40k

I have decided to take on the orks as my favoured army, mostly to play friendly skirmishes between friends, my main oponent will be CSM and possibly eldar, i designed this quick 500 point army and was hoping to get some feedback on improvements i could make.

I am very interested in the evil suns painting scheme and i was hoping that this army met their fanatisism for Speed.

At the moment i stand with

i havn't bought any trops yet, but i did paint a few of my brothers models for him when he collected orks (now in Bits)

i will be versing an opponent who is using CSM with an army list like

HQ-1 = chaos lord-(Mark of nurgle, plaguebringer[daemon weapon])-150pts

TRP-1 = 5x Noise marine (5 sonic blasters) -125pts

TRP-2 = 5xCSM - (1 flamer, mounted in rhino, chaos lord joins this squad)-110pts

TRP-3 = 5xCSM (1 meltagun)-85pts

HVY-1 1xObliterator-75pts

=545pts

so i was looking to add a bit of fire power since his usual tactic is to sit and wait and he usually tries to apply the cover evenly cept it usually ends up being 3 gauntlets which he just sits and waits for you

please someone help

Wazdakka isn't really worth it unless you're taking a whole lot of bikes, and bikes are a bit pricey at this level anyhow. You might wish to consider either an all-bike army (kinda pricey), or you could do the following to really crimp his ability to sit and wait in his rhinos:

The lootas will mess up his transports something fierce so that you can charge the disembarked passengers. It will also force him to come to you.
Dropping a loota to add boarding planks could be worthwhile so that you don't have to get out of your transport to destroy his with your PK, so that you're not just handing the charge to him.

There is also the fact that your friend is 45 points over, which is a large margin.
