Updated first post from the latest:

Alright, made 2 lists which are similar, but Im not sure which one to go with. Both have councils, one is jutlocks, one is in a tank. Both have there benefits, and downsides. Jetlocks are open to all small arms fire, but have an 18" assault radius and have a better T and save. Locks in the tank provide me with another 7 S6 shots per turn, and a more safe way of transporting the locks, but its a bitch to try and get them into assault, and on foot they are much easier to kill.

Looks rather good.

I'd two squads of Fire Dragons to remove the most serious threats.
Scorpions are not mandatory.
If they infiltrate, they will eventually get shot down early in the game.

I'm not sure that Stalker on the Scorpion Exarch is necessary. Otherwise the list looks pretty solid.

I'd spend the point to beef up one DA unit.
Such a unit would give you some killing power vs hordes.
You could also drop fortune.
There is nothing really precious to be fortuned in this list.

Well, I'd consider the 2nd list, since your Jetlocks are eventually exposed to small arms fire.
This will not happen with a fully mech list.
I'd replace the Falcon with a Serpent.

Not a fan of serpent council. Hard to get them into an assault and stranded if the serpent goes boom.

5 DA in a serpent is great for objective missions but you'll really find they have not teeth in Annihilation missions. (speaking from personal experience)

Never been a fan of underslug shuricannons. You can't move over 6" and fire both, a serpent/falcon is BS3 so you'll get 1-2 hits statistically, and it's 24" range which puts the vehicle in serious jeopardy especially since it's got squishies inside.

The army lacks killing potential due to the small DA units.
The transports generally have not enough shots for taking out larger squads.

any suggestions? Ive been play testing a similar list and find the underslungs a nice addition of shots per round. And how often are you going to get your guys out of there tanks anyways? Once out they die so quickly (even DA). Bladestorm is underwelming from personal experience. I find the army gets really squishy when I start unloading my cargo and exposing them to all small arms fire the next turn.

I will say that I've had great use of underslung SCannons with the Twin-linked Missile up top. If you need anti-infantry, coming to within 24" means you can fire both the SCannon (as the main weapon), and the template Missile on top as a Defensive Weapon. I've done the same with Vipers and Falcons(Pulse Laser, Missile...no SCannon upgrade tho) with some success, I'm finding the Missile a very good choice for when you wish to keep mobile and add necessary firepower when needed.

yea I like using the scatterlasers, nothing like 4 TL S6 shots a turn.

Im considering running the first list with the jetlocks, any thoughts?

Oh I definitely agree that one the guys get out they are dead for the most part, the major issue with 3 units of 5 man DA in serpents is if they are even shaken you've lost a good chunk of your firepower for that turn. The underslugs expose the serpent to unnecessary danger by getting in the 24" range when you could just kite at the 36'48 range. The 3 underslug shots are BS3 so while it's fun and encouraging to roll those 3 dice the odds are that they aren't worth getting in that 24" range or moving at a slower speed (non plasma EML).

If your running TL ShuriCans as your main or have a serpent you know is going to be in their face to drop off nasties, then I'm all for underslungs.

Yeah, I am going to say no to the underslung shuricannons. You really want your serpents to be moving. If they are moving they won't be firing that cannon.

I'd also vote for beefing up the DA squads as well. And I am a big fan of the exarch with them as well.

Learn to see 18" in your sleep and you will piss off a lot of opponents.

Oh, and I love thE scatter lasers. Very Eldar. I might only suggest to consider EML or BL if you feel as if you don't have enough AT.
