OK, so Ive finally gotten some transport for the boyz, now whats a good idea on how to model them? Would think that keeping the truks cheap would be the way to go (boarding planks maybe?) but the number of options on the BW is daunting. The kunning plan is to have them race down the field and crash into the enemy lines, not use the BW as a bunker.
The force atm includes a kff mek and a warboss with three units of boyz in the rides, with some stormboyz skipping along as well and a unit of copters. Bit of loota fire support and some kommandos.
So what do I stick on the vehicles?
Sliggoth
(original plan was to buy three trukks to start but the FLGS had two trukks and a BW in stock, heh. Likely to add another truk or so later.)

Why does my eldar army run three fire prisms? Because the rules wont let me use four in (regular 40k). |

if the transports are just being used as delivery systems, the method I use for trukks is:
Red Paint Job, Boarding Planks, and reinforced ram (for the all important re-roll on terrain tests).
For the BW I use: Red Paint Job, boarding plank, 1x big shoota (to keep a weapon destroyed result from immobilizing). Depending on how your group allows deff rollas to be used, you may want them. If they don't allow them to be used against vehicles or you don't have the points, at least get a reinforced ram for the terrain re-roll.
Some people also like adding extra armor to the BW so that a stunned result doesn't keep them from moving for a turn.

I'd make it as cheap as possible.
Trukkz will get blown up at first sight and hardly deliver their payload into cc.
BW's are a bit more durable so that I'd go for rp job, boarding planks, and some shooting weapons if you have the points.

In my experience unless you can find some terrain or keep your whole convoy close enough to your Big Mek with kff expect to lose a Trukk or two before you can get there. However, if you can go first turn it's pretty much game (though most of my opponents are tau, eldar and shooty marines) I run my Trukks with rams, red paint, boarding planks and (just for fun) wreckin' balls. The BWs get Deff Rollas (since our game store owner decreed that they did indeed work on vehicles), 1x big shoota for the weap destroyed negation, boarding planks and red paint to get there slightly faster. My army contains 5 trukks and two bw with Nobz and burna boyz in the BWs. I've found that they work well and I win 3/4 of the time.
