100 Scout Squad w/ Snipers, Camo Cloaks, Heavy Bolter
200 CC Terminator Squad w/ TH/SS
250 Land Raider Redeemer w/ Multi Melta
165 Las Pred
85 Dakka Pred
100 ThunderFire Cannon

Total: 1500 on the dot.

Ok, so here's the deelio.
Im planning on having major fire support in this list. In the back, ill have the Predators and the Thunderfire cannon poundin away, and my scouts can take any objectives on the home turf, while adding their pinning shots to the barrage. My Tac Squads will advance under support while my captain and termies will catch a ride in the land raider up to the fray.
My captain has all the trimmings, as you can see. I wanted him with the same saves as the termies he's with,(that is to say, the best in the game! ) and get a few beast-inish swings in, still hitting hard at s6, before the boys swing home with their Hammers. I don't feel bad about loading him up, since he's my only HQ for the moment, so might as well kick it up a notch!

All Critiques, arguments, and comments welcome!!

The only techmarine is manning the TFC for an Iron Hands list? Where's the Master of the Forge?
Tactical squad looks ok, I would suggest Razorbacks for them.
Scouts are meh, never liked minimum sized squads.
Termies + LR is a eggs in basket item in the list, only worsened that it's prob. the only tank approaching the opponent.

Very bad in terms of armor saturation to get them there.

Dakka pred is ok.
Tri-Las pred: meh, I would suggest the AC/LC instead.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

I like the Captain build out.

For Gunline space marines you definitely need razorback for two reasons

1. Extra firepower
2. Mobility for half your tactical squads

The key to a Gunline (take a lesson from the filthy zeno Tau) is to screen your shooters. Use your Razorback to drive up front and try to stop your opponents from getting to your line. A scout squad does the same thing. You could use your land raider for the same purpose of holding back and counter-charging but it's a bit overkill for the job. Like Sanctjud said running a Land Raider up field all alone isnt the best idea.

I saw your point about loading up on your HQ but I personally think you went overboard. He's protected by Terminators in a Land Raider, he doesn't really need the extra armor. I'd lose the SS and AA. I think we can use those points elsewhere.

215 Tactical Squad w/ PowerFist, Plasma Gun, LasCannon
215 " "

If you plan on moving them up the board, they need Rhinos and you don't need the Lascannon. In a mobile squads (one that will be in midfield) the Multi-Melta is as good if not better. Even outside of 12", its AP1 so its more likely to actually kill a tank.

100 Scout Squad w/ Snipers, Camo Cloaks, Heavy Bolter

I feel that Camo Cloaks are kind of overkill really. You should be deployed in 4+ cover and engaging at range. The biggest threats to Scouts (Heavy Flamers and the like) will ignore your fancy cover saves anyway.

200 CC Terminator Squad w/ TH/SS
250 Land Raider Redeemer w/ Multi Melta

Pretty standard in alot of Codex armies. I feel its overkill and I'd rather have the points in more guns but that is a playstyle thing.

165 Las Pred

No thank you. Too expensive for what it does. Take the Combi-Predator instead (AC/LC). Its 45 points cheaper and just as good at its intended targets of transports, walkers and MCs. Everyone always discounts the poor Autocannon.
85 Dakka Pred

Good little gun system, cheap and dakka-y.
100 ThunderFire Cannon

I prefer Whirlwinds simply because they can be deployed out of LOS and the model looks cooler.

So if you take my advice, you'll have a total of 35 points leftover. If you do a little more trimming I think you could fit in an Attack Bike or Speeder or build up your Scout squad a little bit more.
