Subject: Question on Ork Bikes

Ladies Love the Vibro-Cannon Operator
|
Warbikers have a 4+ armor save.
Question: Does this save confer to a Nob riding a bike or does he need 'eavy armor?
The German codex says nothing about this.

'evy armour also gives you a 4+ armour save.
Only use is to make Nobz Non-Identical as a Nob with Warbike is not the same as a Nob with Warbike and 'Evy Armour.

Don't have my codex in front of me... but don't you have to upgrade the whole nob mob with armor? That would make it a bit useless for uniqueness...

No you dont. If you give a nob the bike, the bike grants a 4+ save
Also it says "any nob may take the following"
So if you take 3 nobs with eavy armor, and have 3 without, there is 2 different wound groups. Obviously for wound abuse, you want more then just 2 wound groups, but you get the point
