Ok so a preface, I am hopelessly addicted to a particular type of mint. As a result of this addiction I happen to have quite a few of their cases. lying around I am hesitant to pitch them but stumped with what to do with them. I am sure that I can make terrain out of them but I have no idea what or how.
Here are some pictures of the tins, I need some ideas of what to do with them. some details include that the metal is thin, maybe 1/8 in, and they hold a magnet, so there is some iron in it. Any ideas would be wonderful

I think that 'mint tin' look is going to be hard to disguise, unfortunately. I'd either:
- hide their shape entirely, e.g. cover them with filler and make a hill or building
- or have them represent some sort of large cargo cannister. e.g stacked and chained down on cargo vehicles/trailers.
- or take them apart and use them to represent armour panels on a fort/bastion/barricade - but due to the apparent lack of detail on them, I suspect you'd have to spend a whole lot of time and effort supergluing detail onto them to make them look good.

Fill one with bandaids, antibiotic creme, needle and thread, and some matches, and keep it in your car.

For terrain, I'd take 4 or 5 and stack them together in a line like a loaf of bread. Build a retaining wall around them (about half the height of a tin, or so) and add all manner of wires and conduit.

Whammo, minty power station!
