The burna boyz of course ride in the Battlewagon, i plan to make this army with a very 'Mad Max' theme, with the battlewagon a version of the oil tanker from Road Warrior.

Is the list for competitive play?
The battle wagon is a big target but I guess you don't
care too much if it will not reach the enemy front ranks.

so what would you do to change it to make it more competitive, i don't plan to take this thing to any GT's but rather to give me another option other than my tau and give me a list that does things very differently0 i want it semi competitive for local and local tournament play. this is the first list i came up with after taking a look at the ork codex.

I'd Drop the Armor Plating from the trukks, they are open topped AV10 and the Armor Plating doesnt help much.

Deffrolla is a hot subject, i sugest that you check where you might ever plan in tournys to see how they rule on the subject. If they can hit Vehicles TAKE IT! If not personally i dont think it worth it, take a R-Ram instead.

an Idea: Possibly drop a trukk squad, and maybe add another BW almost bare bones. that way you can have 2 things drawing anti-tank fire, and math tells us that 2 last longer than 1 .

Another idea: Stormboys work well with this type of list. dont know where they would fit in or if you even want them, but they work well here.

Its a quite good list as a first attempt.

I'd drop the Stikkbomb Chukkas (unless planning to assault other Orks in cover?) and Armor Plates, keep those Trukks cheap.

Battlewagon needs some form of weaponry, even if you never fire it, a 5 point expenditure to cut your chances of this vehicle being immobilized in half is well worth it.

Not sure what I'd take out, but a KFF Mek is almost mandatory in Kult of Speed lists.

Don't like the Deffkoptas, would prefer a couple more Nob Bikers, but that's more of a personal opinion.

I'm not an expert on orks or anything, so I can't speak on your army's structure. But I do think you've put way too many upgrades on the trukks. There base cost is only 35 pts and they're as fragile as vehicles can be. Embrace that, don't fight it! All they are supposed to do is zoom toward the enemy and get your boyz in choppa range before blowing up, right? I'd run them naked.

Use the points saved to get more deffkoptas or nob bikers maybe, your call.

I agree with the OP, especially about the stikkbombs, they're worthless and are a waste of points, on trukks only take essentials as they will die after or even before delivering your boyz to combat. KFF is essential in alsmost any ork army, Deffcoptas are nice IMO nob bikers are high on pts. so he'd have to cut his list a lot i think. As of the BW part, he's (again) right because since you have only 1 BW you prooly want to make it as survivable as possible.
