So here it is.

I have an Orky army, love it to death. But I want to start building up a new army. I want it to be resilient and I am drawn to SM. Definitely don't want vanilla and everyone and their brother is playing SW at my LGS.

Enter Dark Angels! No one plays them anymore! I love their model range, but am not sure about their playstyle, fluff, or viability.

Anyone have any experience with or against them? I appreciate all of the comments in advance.

Also, I have been playing 40k for quite a while now and know the ropes well, so I don't mind an army that will be a challenge to play.

Yeah, the DA models are nice.
I'd consider a combined force with DW Termies, RW Bikers, and (robed) Tacticals.

DA are awesome in my opinion except i want more customization! i like the first company that all of them are terminators. and the second company is awesome.
Become a DA successor we right now have none :*(.
Except DA need upgrade now their codex is not that good.

I play DA as well. My list is close to completion and almost ready to play, but I've made a couple army lists and battle plans for the games.
