So i finally finished my Master of the watch whom i use as a captian with relic blade and storm shield. also my converted vulkan

v nice paintjob, especially lovin the dudes shield :]. although i personally would lighten the skin tone with a few drybrushes, very good :]

i actually used 3 colores for his skin.. onw for the base.. then 2 drybrushed.. andeven a wash

The shading is really good, especially on Vulkan. Mabe some flames?

Nice Hestan conversion. The flames on the shoulder are awesome.

Perhaps another coat of gold thought, Looks a bit blotchy. I always find I need at least two coats of Shining Gold.

the gold on the weapons is ... started with a brown then used a brass color.. washed it.. the heavy dry brushed it with antique gold then washed it.. and light drybrush with the antique gold again and blam.. so i think i washed them after that coat too.. but its just a wash thats "blochy"

How did you make the Flamer? I'm doing my own Vulkan conversion, and a bit low on ideas...

i took a flamer and chopped of the end... then i took the narthecum arm from an apothecary and chopped off the saw and syringe. glued the flamer on, ran 2 paperclips from the gun to under his cloak.. and voila.

Cheers, The best I could come up with was some dodgy GS work on a Grey Knight... lol
