The inertial guidance system special rule for the BA drop pods basically prevent mishaps? Some clarification would be great, because maybe I am reading it wrong in the codex.

"While it is true that there is a very small sub-species of geek who are adept at assembling small figures and painting them with breath taking detail; the rest of us are basically the paste eating retards who failed art class. Because of this, what we build never even faintly resembles the picture on the box when we're done." - Coyote Sharptongue

The BA "codex"is only an abstract. It even had not list the entrance location of transport vehicles.

I think he means it forgot to mention access and fire points for its vehicles.

No, the IGS doesn't prevent mishap. It minimises the chance of one. It stops you landing on enemy models/units and impassable terrain.

It does not prevent scatter off the board edge (which will trigger a mishap). The board edge is NOT impassable terrain.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Ok cool, my concern is dropping onto impassable terrain or troops... which it helps with. Thx guys!
