I bought a bottle of it , and before i open it , i thought i would ask for people's experience with them.

How strong is the bond? is it good for resin and metal? better than super glue?

I was going to try some on terrain but I read on the side that it expands quite a bit. I dont know if I would try to build a model with it.

I've never used it myself so can't really help too much.
I've had a bit of a read up but it very much depends on which one you have got?

Been using it myself takes awhile to dry but once it dries you don't have to worry about it coming apart quite impressed with it.

Does it expand like people mentioned? if it comes apart , do i have to file off the hardened spots before regluing?

Ya it expands about 2-3 times what the drop was, ya you have to file/cut/w/e off the hardened spots before re gluing which I learned the hard way with my Autarch's wings.

It expands a ton so try and use as little as possible. That said, it certainly does do its job in bonding materials like metal to metal.

I vouch for it myself. What ever it bonds with though expands takes effort to break. I am ignorant to why but when you use gorilla glue do not wear contacts since the fumes off this glue dries them out pretty fast.

"Definition: 'Love' is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope. Statement: This definition, I am told, is subject to interpretation. Obviously, love is a matter of odds. Not many meatbags could make such a shot, and fewer would derive love from it. Yet for me, love is knowing your target, putting them in your targeting reticle, and together, achieving a singular purpose, against statistically long odds." ~ HK-47

I use that glue. It works better than anything on metal.

The super glue is great. Bonds metal to plastic and metal to metal. I have not tried to break the bond, but I've painted and bumped and generally pushed around a batch of figures (shield and spear attachments) with no harm.

Be really careful, superglue fumes can actually fuse your contacts to your eyeball if you aren't. Length of exposure probably has an impact on that, but better safe than sorry.

Gorilla glue im pretty sure requires one of the surfaces to be wet. It expands but not by much. It would be easy to file down. It is great glue and has incredible strength. It wont harm plastics or anything though. Just read the instructions and you should be fine!

Civilization is the progress toward a society of privacy. The savage's whole existence is public, ruled by the laws of his tribe. Civilization is the process of setting man free from men.

The super glue that gorilla glue makes is amazing it made putting 3 killa kans together bearable, there was still an obnoxious amount of filiing but i glued several plastic conversions on and i have yet to have any break. I've also glued a string of the ammo belts that come in boyz mob boxes with the only contact being a drop of glue at the ends and i havent had it break yet, also the super glue does not expand to my knowledge, the regular stuff does and is incredibly strong, however i've only ever used it for wood to wood and bone to metal so i'm not sure how it would work for modeling.
