I've just finished my first two Legion of the Damned models, the Sergeant and the Legionnaire with the grenades (probably my favourite). I know they aren't based yet but I've been focusing on the painting at the moment.

Any criticism would be welcome.

Thanks,

Looks good, mate, I especially like the banner, you could easily use the one to the left as a chaplain.

Thanks for the idea. I might use them as an Interrogator Chaplain and Honour Guard for my Dark Angels.

Looks really good Valk, maybe a little Badab Black wash on the grenade? Looks like that might bring out the shape a little more.

Can I suggest skipping forward 10 years to the age where you don't really care about what people say on the internet. Studies show that it decreases your anger about life in general by 37%. - Flashman

THey're looking really good! I'm with Natorum, though, most of the metal items (grenade, flamer), could use a wash or two. I like Badab Black, then Devlan Mud to add extra depth, but that's just me. I would also highlight the armor, a little grey on the edges would make the armor pop nicely! Keep it up!

If you argue from fluff then yes.

SW tend to bite more than they can chew...
and the LoD chimes usually uncalled in...

IMO possible in friendly games ( with opponents consent ) and no prob in apoc.

@Valkyrie:

the models are nicely done but I am not sure about your flamer.
Looks somehow wrong to me. Maybe either a full blast or just the igniting flame?
