Hi everyone

I'm in the middle of gathering bitz to start my all beakie Space Marine army. Each marine will have a beakie head and shoulder pad each. Though some kind swaps I've gotten hold of plenty of the 4-ways cable chests, and whilst the 4-ways cable chest is more Mk5 than Mk6 it's the closet I'm going to get without some sculpting. Backpacks and weapons will be standard.

The reason I've started the thread is to ask about the legs. Preferably I'd only use the Mk6 legs with the greaves but I don't want 30+ marines with their legs in the same pose. Aesthetically I'd prefer a mix of leg types (with more than average usage of the Mk6) than adhering to my initial intention to make all of the marines Mk6. Do you think the look of the army will benefit or suffer from mixed knee pads in an otherwise all beakie force?

Here is a link to my blog, I started last year, about my raven guard. http://theravenguardproject.blogspot.com/

I have some pictures and some links to info about the various makes of armor.

Unfortunately I lost interest in the project to concentrate on my orks, so not much is painted but still some nice pics of beakies and mark 6 armor.

Thanks for the link. For love nor money I can't get a hold of the mk6 running legs and yours look great with the mix of running/ standing legs. Did you find the limited leg options too restrictive?

I purchased most of the assault marine running legs off of one of the ebay bits guys (Hoard of Bits). I just emailed the guy and asked him to specifically give me the mrk 6 legs, and he obliged.
