Hi,
I'm interested in modding a human player to wield a chainsaw. I have scoured the rules and found that other races have positions with the chainsaw skill. There is also a human star player with the chainsaw skill. Finally, in the old 2nd Ed days when I played we had humans with chainsaws and it wasn't no thang.
It seems from the Living Rules 5 and Competition rules that the only way to get an "Extraordinary" skill like chainsaw is to get it through experience in campaigns. Can someone please confirm whether I've understood this correctly?
The figure will be for tournament play, so I want to learn if there should be extra cost associated with a player that has this skill. Thanks,
Jamie

I don't think humans can get the chainsaw through skills as they can usually only get str, agi, general and passing. I thought extraordinary were to cover ones on some characters eg vampires who came with the skill standard?

Thanks for the info. I think you are correct. I have been in contact with the event organizer and his reading of the rules is the same, that I'd need to hire Helmut Wulf to have a human with a chainsaw. Wulf is over my salary cap, so I'm going to have resort to other brutal means to dismember my opponents.
