That is a lot of Bolt of Tzeentch. How do you feel about adding a Changeling to one or more of the Pink Horror units? It is a fairly cheap upgrade and potentially devastating to the opponent.

Also, I have always favored Soul Grinders over Daemon Princes, but that's just me.

have a few points left over so can easly add a Changeling.
i was going with the Daemon Prince over the Soul Grinder for more movement but dont know if its worth it...pluss soul grinder would be less points.
if i changed to soul grinder what sould i do with the extra points? more troops?

Quoted for Truth

Changelings are 5 points a piece and in almost every game will more than triple their points worth in dead opponents.

My question is why give the daemon princes bolt of tzeentch?

BoT is not an overall effective weapon, nor worth the points. It is strength 8 ap1 like a melta, but doesnt roll 2D6 and costs a lot of points. And besides that you have 12 screamers, they should be more than effective at killing any vehicles on the board.

My suggestion is give princes iron hide, instead of bolt. This gives them far better survival with a 3+/4+. And if you find it needed, give them a soul devourer. This will give them good potential for troop killing, HQ killing, and tank killing.

Because it has a 24" range and on a prince will be hitting on a 2+. I run 2 grinders and a tzeentch, bolt prince and honestly my prince tends to kill more vehicles, alot of them with the bolt.

I agree the Bolt is good on a Prince with a 2+, however in a full Tzeentch list he already has bolts on both Heralds and one for each squad of Horrors. In addition to the Screamers it seems the points could be put to better use on the Princes.

The reason why you see units of 3 instead of more Flamers in most lists is that out of deepstrike formatation, its very hard/impossible to get all 4 Flamers to flame. So unless you plan to deepstrike them far away in safety, I suggest bringing the unit size back to 3.

One more thing, the 2 heralds count as one HQ choice (2 heralds for 1 FOC slot). So if you would like to add another HQ (or 2 more heralds), you could.

Close but no cigar. Drop Soul Devourer (you shouldn't be using it much) and take We Are Legion and Master of Sorcery. Now you can target 2 units and fire the power that is most effective at them.

4 Flamers of Tzeentch 140

Nice, most people use 3 but this works just fine too.

I agree, find points for the Changeling.

6 Screamers 96

Good choice for killing Land Raiders or other AV14 vehicles. They also make nice tarpit units for really shooty squads like Lootas.

Honestly I feel that you have enough shooting, what you really need is some counter-assault units. Drop BoT and take Unholy Might. You'll still be good at anti-tank but now you have something that you can throw at those assault units.

the thought was if you may need to assault just to save your self from tons of incomeing shots. and after pilling in with a sqad to have much of a chanse to winning and ever getting out of the fight again the power whep part of soul devourer would help....
not a good tought?
thanks for all the info so far, new to this army, have alot to learn.
oh, one ? for you, sould i be looking to fit a few Chaos Icons in?

I see where you're coming from, but you want to keep your Heralds far far away from any kind of potential assaulters. Thats not too hard considering you're jump infantry and have a decent effective range. Remember you're WS2 S3 in HtH combat so a power weapon isn't going to do much.

oh, one ? for you, sould i be looking to fit a few Chaos Icons in?

This is a personal choice. I don't like to use anything, I'd rather spend those points on more bodies and take my chances.
Other people load up on Icons because they want some control over a semi-random army.

If you're starting out, my advice would be 1 Icon per wave.

I agree completely. At the very least you will want your backup wave to have an Icon so that your preferred wave doesn't have difficulty getting on the board. I like giving my front lines an Icon so that my reserve wave (which includes a Soul Grinder) can get right into the action.
