Hi everyone! I am new to the forums and I am also new to WHFB. I've played a little 40k and liked it, but would also like to try the fantasy counterpart because dragons fascinate me. At 40k, I play an eldrad list with fire prisms. I am trying to put together a similar list - I made a 2000 point list based on scanning the forum and also by the figs that i have already purchased. Feel free to comment on either what's legal or not, or ineffective or not. thanks!

First off - too many Rares. You have 5 rare choices, but limited to 4 at 2000 points. I would say get rid of an RBT.

That Dragon Mage seems rather out of place for this list. Teclis is really going to be doing the heavy lifting, so to speak - if you want a scroll caddy, save yourself the points and just get a basic lvl1 caddy to go around. In any event, the Dragon Mage is a lot less effective after the 1.5k point mark, and even if you were to use him, you'd be better off making him a level 2 with Silver Wand and Ring of Fury. As is, you're better off with a regular scroll caddy (too many points invested on Characters, imo).

Reavers - they're just not very good. The Great Eagles do their job a bit better and faster (minus the minimal shooting that they have).

PG - get them full command and the Banner of Sorcery. Dropping that 3rd RBT alone should get you the points for this.

The biggest issue is that you don't actually have any counter-charge units. You have the lion Chariot, but it's not quite enough to get things done by itself. Invest in some Dragon Princes or some White Lions/Sword Masters to give you some actually hard-hitting units.
