Little problem here: I'm trying to assemble a Landraider Crusader, it's mostly finished but I want to have a pintle-mounted meltagun on the top hatch... The instructions show that I need a hatch that has a little bit with two knobs on the side for the two little bits with the melta mags that mount on each side of the weapon allowing it to be attached to the hatch. The sprue I have (and I do have the complete kit) has a hatch with no knobbly bits and a hatch with a long bit sticking off the top (for the storm bolter I assume) but there is no hatch that looks like the illustration! Where the heck is the hatch with the knobbly bits?!

I'm guessing that the hatch which fits the Storm Bolter is also supposed to be used for the Multi-Melta.

If I remember, the Melta canisters fit onto the two knobs on the side of the one that looks like it's for the Storm Bolter, and they have a sort of tab sticking out of them that fit onto the Meltagun itself.

Just experiment a bit with dry fits, it really does all go together, though it is a little fiddly...

Yeah, the long one is for the multi melta. Its in 3 or 4 parts.

Yes, the storm bolter hatch is the one you want. I built a LRC with pintle melta about a week ago, and that is the one that you need.

Just for clarification: That's the one with the long exposed bit of plastic jutting out of it that looks to be for an elevated gun? Because the melta bits won't fit onto that without looking very silly.

It will work out fine. Just follow the Instructions.

I am following them but neither hatch looks like the one in the picture; hence the problem

I will try improv... maybe green stuff if this comes to the worst.

Yes thats the bit you need. Thats the one that I used and it worked fine.
