As far as I can tell, our image gallery converts everything uploaded to jpg's, right? Is there any way to circumvent this? I wanted to upload a rotating gif and it got stamped into a jpg, like so:

I'm afraid that they have to be converted to jpgs to be compatible with a lot of the different elements in the gallery. gifs are generally just too large in file size to be reasonably used and the software has no native support for resizing animated gifs anyway.
