My FLGS says I need to play less cheesily and actually field some infantry besides vets in vendettas/valkyries.

Alright, so every squad leader has a meltabomb so in case my fragile artillery goes boom, i can still swarm his tanks.
Um... basically this is a gun line that I have given the first platoon no heavies so they can charge in towards objectives.

40-man autocannon squad keeps it together with a commissar and by sticking close to creed so if they do run away like panzies, I can get em back into the fight.

Other than that, the Inquisitor, Assassin, and psyker battle squads take on everything that isn't fearless.


Thinking about giving the medusa bastion breacher shells since its going to be on anti-tank duty all day, and so i can keep it not so much on my front line.

Tell them to get better anti-skimmer.

Tell them not to suck if its a tourney its about the winnings not friends.

On the other hand, if you want to play less efficiently, you're going about it the wrong way. Just stick units that you think look cool/are the most recent in and rush them towards the enemy. Don't come here, because we improve the list, and clearly your FLGS wants you to win less.

i have no idea what to do with platoons, all the times ive played with them with creed, i just give them furious charge and throw them at terminators or soemthing

anywyays, does the list look good for a tourny? i really suck at playin, i just have played guard since i was 10 (when armageddon came out) and am trying to find a place for my guard in 5th edition without my tank company.
