Event Description: "MkII WM/Hordes Flashpoint 25pt

Three ways to win! Prizes to the player with:

The most captured flags

The most killed characters

The most table defenses this is the total (not consecutive)

The best painted caster.

First round is a standard battle with Caster kill.

The winner of that game becomes the defender. The table terrain is reset and flags are added. After that it is like Stampede (no timers)."

Jacks: crusader, vanquisher, devout, repenter, revenger, redeemer
units: 5 choir, 6 zealots, 5 bastions
solos: none
Any advice would be great as this is my first event and have no idea what to bring. A 'few' purchases can be suggested.

No timers?

We ran timers all through our event. An odd choice.

Also, when defending the table, you suffer attrition, so stuff like Knights Exemplar
will end up screwing up your force.

I actually haven't been list building for Protectorate MK2. Might need to think about it.

Choir of Menoth (Leader and 3 Grunts)
Exemplar Bastions (Leader and 4 Grunts)
The Wrack (3 wracks)
Vassal of Menoth

Any ideas?

You are going to want a vassel or two, they are very important support pieces and have very powerful abilities especially at lower points.
I would go with classic pop and drop,
