Yeah, there is a reason they started calling it "Climate Change", mainly because it's a load of twaddle made up by scientists to get paid lots of money!

You're aware global warming doesn't cause universal warming? No, you're not. It causes climate change. Do some fething research, most climate models predict europe looking more like canada (a region it shares latitude with) due to the subtle but eventual changing of the thermal belt. This is accompanied by a further desertification of africa and central america (currently occurring). The belt of the world gets warmer, the top and bottom get warmer, the neck and knees regulate and (overall) get warmer. Regions benefitting via warming historically from things like the trade winds and heat belt will cool right the hell down, while areas like Maine (where I live) will warm up (like it's been doing for decades) as those same systems stop piping in cold arctic air.

As ShumaGorath said, the UK is at roughly the same latitude as Canada, Denmark and Russia, and the areas reistering -22 degrees C are a the same latitude as Norway, where the have snow for three months of the year.

So you're attempting to claim that because a part of the world is experiencing a periodic cooling, then there can be no overall trend towards increasing temperature. That is as insightful as claiming that overall human wealth hasn't risen since 1700 because you know a guy that's poor.

Is there something deep in your soul that drives you away from content and reason? Or is this a stance you've formed over time... did you at some point consciously decide that a sensible consideration of the facts was for other people?

he might be good at knowing every litle detail of the rules that GW invented for their games, but he's lacking a grasp to the reality..
