So, can the Techmarine that comes with the Thunderfire Cannon take a unit of Servitors? The Servitor entry says you can take them for every Techmarine in the army, but I didn;t know if the Thunderfire Cannon Techmainre counts because its a different unit...

You can take Servitors, he is after all a Techmarine.
What I had meant before was that they are not all together in one unit.
So that means they have to deal with mindlock if the TFC TM is the only TM.

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

The confusion is probably coming from AB as they ruled they aren't allowed until GW FAQs that "Techmarine Gunner" is the same as normal Techmarine elite choice that can take the servitors.

I was just about to say that. In the TFC entry, it lists "Techmarine Gunner", where under the Servitor entry it indicates one unit can be taken for every "Techmarine". Without getting into semantics and parsing the word "if" into infinity, I would say it's two different units, and you can only take Servitors for every actual "Techmarine" you buy as an elites choice.

Kk, RAW would be: no.
RAI: who knows.
I think the Servitors are a questionable choice no matter how you slice it.

The servitors are just going to stand around Mindlocked until the gun is destroyed. I don't even know why you'd want them.
