Ok as of now i have yet to kill more then 1/5th of my enemys army before bing tabled i play 1500 points most of the time

as of now i own

abadon(might use as dp)
lord(i use as sorc)

5 termys(use as oblits sometimes)

30 marienes(use as any cult unit i choose that day)

12 khorne berzerkers

rhino
3bikers
10 lesser daemons
land raider
dreadnaught
and a defiler

im getting almost 90 dollers this week to buy new stuff but i want a good list before i buy anything
becuase as of now im debating selling both of my armys cuz i never have fun playing

You made the mistake that alot of new Chaos players make and thats ignoring the fact that the foundation of a good Chaos Marine army is its troops.

I only see a single Rhino, thats not good. Almost every troop choice is better in a Rhino. This means that first thing you should buy is more Rhinos.

Knock your Berserkers down to 8-10 so they can fit into one.

Don't worry about Icons, most aren't worth it besides IoCG. Its much more important that you're taking 2 specials, a Fist and a Rhino.

Bikers, Abaddon and Dreadnoughts are all meh choices, I would stay clear of them until you understand the game better.

Pretty much what minigun762 said.

Troops are the backbone of the CSM list.
It gives you bodies, scoring, special weapons, pew pew bolters, and combat muscle.

Three should be the starting point.
Then mech them for maximum competitivity.

As for:
Bikers: they are mainly special weapon delivery, though are expensive at that.
Abaddon: is really reserved for larger games where you can afford the posse and ride, but ends up eating alot of points and is an eggs in a basket army.
Dreads: need proper deployment and good management of conditions that arise.

My suggestion? Make a list and ask people for help before wasting money on expensive models.

after that game my lgs ruled that lash moves had to keep enemy in same formation so half the goodness of lash died there

both lists are very similar and personaly i dont think id have fun with either but at least id stand a chance of winning
@miigun762 ive been playing the game for a year and a half i think ive got a good concept of the game and the bikers and dread i never use i got dread from aobr and the bikers from the chaos battleforce and abby was the first hq i bought heck hes helped me win many team games

Plague list: It looks decent…though:
DP’s don’t need rot on both, pretty boring there.
Diversifying at least 1/3 of the Plague marine squad weapons can make the list more flexible, while the oblits are nice, but sort of out of place.

Dustbucket list:
Bolt is a underwhelming power, they should really be running IMO
TS: I don’t think Bolt is good on TS either, wind makes them much more killy. Doombolt makes them a bit cheaper. TS just isn’t a squad you can get far with when supplementing their firepower rather than complimenting it.
Again, oblits look out of place.

Ok ive decided to heck with matched god armys i need a list i can have fun with(witch also involves at least stnding a chance in a game vs ig)

so heres the list ima try for the next month till i get my third rhino

daemon prince mon wings warptime( a friend sugested this and his dp is annoying as hell)175

land raider dozerblade daemonic poseson (kbs needed a ride and i thought 20 points for dp was worth it) 245

defiler reaper autocannon close combat arm (bought from friend and this was how he was eguipped and i like him with the second gun incase he gets imobilized)150

salamanders aprox 2500 points i try to avoid outside of 2 v1
crons no monaliths up to 2500 havent played vs but his list is scary
mobile tau 2000 2 rh lotsa devilfishes and crisis suits and norm a 3 man squad of broadsides
2 guard players bth at 1500 one is 4 chimeras a lrbt with pask and a bunch of guardsmen
other has manticores and 2 valks
dark angels 2000
and another guy plays crons orks guard csm and chaos daemons never bringing more then 1500
we also have a speed freaks ork player with 3 bws full of lootas

1 vs 1 i never stand a chance
when i team up im norm with tau player or a guard player and we have a close game that we tend to lose

personally i like the last list best but im not sure if its competetive so ima try it out tonight
