Subject: Inu Yasha... anyone still watch it? ( Spoiler since its the final Act )

I know there has been lots of love and hate for this anime ,
some has first loved it but ran out of patience for the never ending 167 episodes.
However starting Oct 3 , 2009 they are ending the anime with the final act. These ending episodes are called
InuYasha: Kanketsu-hen. So if you want to see how it ends , start watching.
I just watched kikyo's death and im crying my eyes out , its the most beautiful death scene in anime that i have ever seen.
Kikyo is my favorite character so its awful , but im also awed and impressed by how much effort they put into this scene.
So after years of waiting for out come in the love triangle between the 3 , im satisfied because Kikyo deserved the epic episode T-T

I got bored with it after awhile. It didn't seem to be going anywhere. Besides, I always liked Ghost in the Shell, Big O and Witch Hunter Robin better.

Never watched it. I got fed up with Ranma halfway through since every episode was the same thing. Same for Urusei yatsura. I prefer anime with a plot, not animated sitcoms.

Here you go :3
I linked from 7 first because older episodes are towards the end.
http://www.anilinkz.com/category/inuyasha/page/7/
And for the guys that got bored of long anime , watch the final act.
I think its sort of made so you can sort of "skip" the first 167 episodes (or not i dunno )
And wow the anime spanned 10 years atm o_o

My Girlfriend has seasons 1-6 of Inuyasha, whcg encompises the first 147 or so episodes, and she DVRs the episodes she dosn't have all the time.
I'll pass this bit of info on to her as I'm sure it will be of interest.

I kind of watched it on and off. Noticed that I didn't really miss much when I didn't watch it though.
Towards the end it seemed to get stuck in a cycle.
1. Naraku and Inuyasha fight, bad guy is almost dead and runs off
2. Naraku gets new power/barrier out of nowhere
3. Inuyahsa is powerless to break the barrier or doesn't even stand a chance against the bad guy with their new power
4. Inuyasha gets a new power out of nowhere
5. Inuyasha spends several eps chasing down Naraku so they can fight again
6. Barrier is broken and/or Naraku's new power is useless now
7. Go to stage 1
But there are other shows with an even more annoying loop. A loop that suck so much you don't even bother with that series *cough*Haruhi*cough*

I know what you mean , i know the loop is there ( but i enjoyed it anyways ;p) but in the final act , Naraku's plans are all revealed , so were Kikyo's
they did a GREAT job explaining why it was going back and forth. ( im serious , the plans are likeTzeentch vs Creed Because Narraku is a sly assh*** and Kikyo needs her revenge! )

I'll do that, I do watch it from time to time with her,as well as the other anime she likes ( Naruto,Wolfsrain,Full metal Alchimist, cowboy be-bop,Trigun and about a thousand others).
I'm sure as soon as these episodes (seasons) of Inuyash are available she will be buying them.

I might look up the last few eps then after I finish Darker than Black. Anime on TV in Australia is very fickle (except Death Note ), they'll just drop it for next to no reason and put up some more crap instead. That's why I only stream now

LMAO this is why I got bored of inuyash. The first 20 episodes or so held my attention though. How many times are they gonna fight those same damn poison bugs? I also don't like it in animes when they have to repeat the name of their attack over and over.

I'm surprised that I've never heard of this, as it seems to be so popular. Though don't balme me if I can't be bothered to sit through these all.

I didn't even know it was still going on, honestly. I thought it ended a few years ago...although I doubt I missed anything much. Watched the first season and part of the second, then I realized that it basically introduced the main characters then proceeded to go nowhere fast.
Surprisingly enough, my favorite anime at the moment is Case Closed - which literally goes nowhere. Over five seasons (about 120 episodes) the only thing that changes are the different gadgets that Conan has. I'm kind of amazed how long these shows can go on, considering they don't really change from episode to episode.
