Hey guys, the game group is dusting off the fantasy mini's for another go at adding a hobby other then WH40K. Primary Enemies: Dwarves, O&G, and Lizardmen.

Hero 1 - Noble + HoDA = 110

Core 1 - Glade Guard x10 = 120

Core 2 - Glade Guard x10 = 120

Core 3 - Dryads x8 = 96

Core 4 - Dryads x8 = 96

Core 5 - Glade Riders x5 + Musician = 129

Special 1 - Wardancer Troupe x7 = 126

Special 2 – Warhawk Riders x3 = 120

Rare 1 – Great Eagle = 50

TOTAL- 967

33 points remain because I am not sure how I want to kit the lord. Do I wanna just stick him with some GG and stick 'em on a hill, or maybe buy him a horse and put him with the GR. I know it lacks magic but I really did not feel a need to cram any in at such a low points cost. THe list is very basic, some shooting, some counter charge, some flying artillery harrassment. C&C always welcome!

Don't take the GR for 1 more point in total you get 5 Wild Riders, which have better stats and get free muso (causing fear on the charge). Otherwise looking good.

@ Krellnus:

I can see where he is going with the Glade Riders. His play style will obviously be avoidance, which Glade Riders excell at (being good March blockers and Redirectors). Wild Riders can't even flee from a charge (being Immune to Psychology), so Glade Riders are a better choice for the role.

The list is going to get hurt by Magic heavy enemies. Luckily, all your primary enemies don't have extremely good Magic at this points level (except Lizardmen's Engine of the Gods Magic, which is undispellable anyway).

I don't see the need for the Warhawk Rider unit. They perform the same roles as the Great Eagle and the Glade Riders do, and two of these units is enough at 1000 points.

Hmm you have a good point about the WH Riders. And yes I am going for an avoidance army Should I consider using those saved points for another hero, or maybe the above mentioned unit of WR for fear on the charge? If I would go hero, should I rearrange points for a standard alter or maybe a scroll/calignor spell singer for a bit of anti magic and a bit of tree singing? Input greatly welcomed!
