Incoming! Blood Angels
This April the Blood Angels will be re-launched with an all-new Codex and range of plastic and metal miniatures. One of the oldest and noblest of all Space Marine Chapters, the Blood Angels have stood fast against the enemies of the Imperium since the Great Crusade and it was their Primarch Sanguinius, who laid down his life to aid the Emperor against Horus in the final hours of the Warmaster’s rebellion. The new Codex explores the background and history of these superhuman warriors like never before, and contains new artwork depicting some of their greatest battles and most powerful champions.
The Blood Angels have always been a powerful close combat army and have been made even deadlier thanks to a range of specialist wargear, the ability to field Assault Squads as Troops choices, and more Dreadnoughts than any other Space Marine Chapter, including a Death Company Dreadnought and the fabled Furioso Dreadnought. The Sons of Sanguinius will be deep striking onto a tabletop near you this April – now’s the time to practice painting red.
Meh, not really much juicy news, and nothing we didn't already know, but it's nice to hear from GW about it I guess.

Thinking about it -
I always wondered WHY they are doing another SM money.
Then I realized, its a really smart economical move by GW.
They just really need a new codex, maybe 2-4 new models.
Then the reboxed old range will bring in some longer profits.
Pretty smart sly move. Low cost, reoutput-rehashed products to generate more cash.

People are like dice, a certain Frenchman said that. You throw yourself in the direction of your own choosing. People are free because they can do that. Everyone's circumstances are different, but no matter how small the choice, at the very least, you can throw yourself. It's not chance or fate. It's the choice you made. |

Seems to me that the BAs are just filler while they work on getting out the DA and Necrons.

It's gotta be alphabetical. I live near Seattle and I still don't have this.

Just filler? Really? REALLY? Just like DA & BT were filler or just some sort of new magical filler for people who have played this filler army for a very long time? If this was sarcasm, sorry I didn't detect it.

Everyone who has been following the rumors knew it was coming. The time to complain was months ago when the rumors came out. So yay! if you play marines and boo! if you don't. I am sure if I played Blood Angels and didn't play Dark Eldar or Tomb Kings I would have no intrest in when those came out and would be complaing about when my "fixed" codex would come out. Luck of the draw, better luck next time.

Not really much luck in that draw.. BAs have a huge following dating back to the beginning of what we know as Space Marines
dark eldar were invented to sell some fast models (worked well for a few weeks till people looked at what they bought!)
Yeah it sucks that DE or Tomb kings dont get new books faster, but theyre not top sellers
Im sure detroit lions fans think its unfair theyve had the worst team too.. but unfortunately just gotta roll with it because you're no Colts or patriots

Probably refers to variety, rather than pure numbers. Blood Angels can theoretically field Venerables, Death Company Dreads, Furiosos, and regular dreads, which is one more than Codex: Space Marines (Venerable, Ironclad, regular).
EDIT: And now Lemartes has apparently gone missing from the GW website.

I was trying to put it in a way that people against the Codex and would complain "BAH... My DE aren't getting updated." would understand.
Me personally, I see a reason for this army to get updated, they have a PDF currently, at least the DE have a codex. I'm looking forward to the BA book, I wanna see what they do with them.

Oh absolutely! My assault troops love their moving walls commonly known as rhinos. That tactic works well when both are used in abundance. Not to mention you can take the jump packs off and actually use the rhino for... well... a transport.

I was so excited when I got that email only to realize there was no preview of a model in there. Good to know what Reds8n said the other day is confirmed though.

I know, where the hell is our Iron Hands Codex*
Looks like the counts as might move to Blood Angels then.
*I know there are too many SM Codices, they should be in a single book or just spread out a little more to make it look like there are other races in 40k.

I think this is going to be a strong release though.
