Heyo,

I am still relatively new to 40k (and minis in general ) and this is my first real attempt at converting models. I am working on putting together a Inquisitor retinue, and started with the gun servitor. It's a bit messy, and I kinda messed up cause I wasn't thinking and put the base on before I had painted the model. ( lol I know that seems like too obvious a mistake, but at the time I was excited to try a technique I found, and wasn't thinking! ).

I am planning to do a little more with her, like put a cloak on her, and I wanna do some stuff with the face, cause atm it is too obvious she is a demon. I was thinking of putting a metal 'blind fold' type thing on her, or something like that but I am not sure yet.

Anyway, any advice/opinions would be super handy =)

Thanks,
Serenade

That is not a servitor.

Servitors don't always have to be lobotomized zombies with massive guns stapled to their shoulders in place of arms. I've always envisioned some forces employing servitors such as the ammo carrier kid in the last Matrix movie.

Although, such a skinny girl man-handling a heavy bolter would likely require bionics of some type.

Cherry2000 is how I answer that. She was a sex bot from ages old, and now wants a job carrying big ass guns. Presto. ChangeO.

Agree on the bionics, but this isn't a heavy, its just a standard boltgun.

Despite it not being an 'official' servitor, its a fantastic model. I wouldn't add too much to her at all- perhaps some ammo pouched to disguise her massive hips, but other than that, leave it. A human paint scheme will show shes not a daemon better than any conversion work to the face.

For Inquisitor?

Why not just leave her a demon with a... bolter is it?

I want to know how you made that. I want to make one too!

What bits did you use?

If that is a mistake, I really want to see what you do on purpose.

friggin sweet!

At Games Workshop, we believe that how you behave does matter. We believe this so strongly that we have written it down in the Games Workshop Book. There is a section in the book where we talk about the values we expect all staff to demonstrate in their working lives. These values are Lawyers, Guns and Money.
