Hi,
So the thing is I recently got back into warhammer and I went a little spend crazy, getting myself a ton of models. Originally, I planned on building a blood angels force, but rather than wait until the new codex is released, I'm going to build a SW army. For the list below, I have nearly all the models already barring the TWM for conversion and 1 rhino. I am hesitant to buy a bunch of, say, landspeeders. I'm wondering what you think of this list and tactics. Please let me know what you think.

HQ: 1 Wolf Lord @ 260 Pts
Frag/Krak Grenades; Storm Shield (x1); Thunder Hammer (x1); Runic Armour; Thunderwolf Mount; Saga of the Bear (Eternal Warrior)

So obviously he has a prohibitively high points cost. Couple considerations here though. I am confident enough in my modeling abilities that I think I can convert a stunning centerpiece. Aesthetics aside, I needed a threatening, fast moving fire magnet that could draw heavy shots away from my razorback squads or, vice versa, that could punish my opponent for targeting them instead. 2+\3++ and EW, fast moving should be tough enough to require considerable resources to stop him.

HQ: 1 Rune Priest @ 110 Pts
Frag/Krak Grenades; Chooser of the Slain; Bolt Pistol (x1); Runic Weapon (x1)
Living Lightning; Storm Caller

This guy joins the Inquisitor in the rhino. He provides strength 7 shots from the top hatch against infiltrators (via auspex) or deepstrikers (via mystic) in situations where d6 strength 7 is preferable to a multimelta shot. Additionally, chooser of the slain works well with the inquisitors auspex to herd infiltrators or limit their ability to position effectively. Not a big deal, more of a nice bonus. Not sure about storm caller, may go tempest's wrath instead.

HQ: 1 Inquisitor Lord @ 181 Pts
Auspex; Emperor's Tarot; Psychic Hood; Frag Grenades; Bolt Pistol; (x1); Close combat weapon (x1)

1 Mystic; Laspistol; Close Combat Weapon
2 Sage; Laspistol (x2); Close Combat Weapon (x2)
2 Warrior Gun Servitor; Frag Grenades; Krak Grenades; Targeter; Multi-Melta (x2)

This is a great unit to add personality to my list. It's so easy to overspend or underspend on this unit. Full of utility IMO. Auspex is worth it's points, so to is the tarot for increased chance of the first turn (obviously more so for a shooty list like this), and really why not throw in the hood as the best psychic defense available? Mystic and 2 multimelta, alternatively 1 multimelta and living lightning, as deepstrike protection in more anti-infantry situations. This unit goes in the rhino purchased off the wolf guard unit. Really was a tough unit to build.

Elite: 1 Eversor Assassin Operative @ 95 Pts
Combat Drugs; Executioner Pistol; Melta Bombs; Neuro-Gauntlet; Power Weapon; Bio-Meltdown; Fast Shot

Probably infiltrated. He is a 95 point killy distraction, who along with the wolf lord can shift attention and target prioritization from where it should be. He does have a 12 inch charge and melta bombs so he could be a headache for my opponent.

Elite: 1 Dreadnought @ 125 Pts
Unit Type: Vehicle (Walker); Searchlight; Smoke Launchers; Twin Linked Autocannon; Twin Linked Autocannon

It gives me highly accurate, long range shooting for reliably taking out transports and armor for armor saturation. Good stuff.

Elite: 3 Wolf Guard @ 89 Pts
3 Wolf Guard; Frag/Krak Grenades; Bolt Pistol (x3); Close Combat Weapon (x3)

1 Rhino; Searchlight; Smoke Launchers; Storm Bolter

Purchased only to provide a cheap armored transport for the inquisitor's unit.  I would really, really like to find 15pts to give them combi-something. But I haven't been able to find the points.  Each goes with a grey hunter squad, without a combi they are another body and 1 higher leadership. Like I said though, I needed a real transport as the inquisitorial option rhino belongs in the previous rule set, overpriced and ineffective.

Grey Hunters Pack- 5 Grey Hunters Pack @ 150 Pts
Frag/Krak Grenades; Bolt Pistol (x5); Bolter (x4); Close Combat Weapon (x5); Flamer
1 Razorback @ 75 Pts Searchlight; Smoke Launchers; Twin-Linked Lascannon

Grey Hunters Pack- 5 Grey Hunters Pack @ 150 Pts
Frag/Krak Grenades; Bolt Pistol (x5); Bolter (x4); Close Combat Weapon (x5); Flamer
1 Razorback @ 75 Pts Searchlight; Smoke Launchers; Twin-Linked Lascannon

Grey Hunters Pack- 5 Grey Hunters Pack @ 150 Pts
Frag/Krak Grenades; Bolt Pistol (x5); Bolter (x4); Close Combat Weapon (x5); Flamer
1 Razorback @ 75 Pts Searchlight; Smoke Launchers; Twin-Linked Lascannon

Grey Hunters Pack- 5 Grey Hunters Pack @ 150 Pts
Frag/Krak Grenades; Bolt Pistol (x5); Bolter (x4); Close Combat Weapon (x5); Flamer
1 Razorback @ 75 Pts Searchlight; Smoke Launchers; Twin-Linked Lascannon

Grey Hunters Pack- 5 Grey Hunters Pack @ 120 Pts
Frag/Krak Grenades; Bolt Pistol (x5); Bolter (x4); Close Combat Weapon (x5); Meltagun
1 Razorback @ 75 Pts Searchlight; Smoke Launchers; Twin Linked Heavy Bolter

Mech goodness, 5 scoring units, anti-tank. It's the backbone of my list. I'm aware that some people will like the MSU approach with razorbacks. Others, however, will not. The naysayers, I feel, claim the fragility of the razorback as its main drawback. I hope I have enough armor/magnets to do well enough. What do you think?

Heavy Support: 1 Predator @ 85 Pts
Searchlight; Smoke Launchers; Autocannon; Heavy Bolter x 2

Heavy Support: 1 Predator @ 85 Pts
Searchlight; Smoke Launchers; Autocannon; Heavy Bolter x 2

Rounding out the list.  Good anti-horde, more armor, excellent value for the points.

Sent from my Iphone while on a train. I will edit any mistakes when I get home.

Thanks

Specifically, I'm looking for general feedback and where to trim 15 points for WG combis.

-Has it been decided, either by the Dakka community, Gwar!, or GW, that Space Wolves can take DH or WH allies. I've never really looked at either of the Inq. codices so I don't know how they word their ally rules. Just something to think about if you're playing in a super-official tournament or in a game against TFG. From a fluff standpoint there are two ways to look at it: a) the Space Wolves are an Imperial force, so the Inquisition can requisition their support, but b) the Space Wolves don't think real highly of any of the Adeptus branches or the Inquisition because of their tendency to leave Imperial citizens stranded in dire straits or to just straight up kill them if they even see anything Chaos.

-Well, in order to get some points for combi-weapons I would drop another one or two of the Razorbacks down to twin-linked Heavy Bolters. I think you've got enough that have lascannons.

-If you're planning on getting into close combat with your Grey Hunters you might wanna consider finding the points to give them Marks of the Wulfen and/or Wolf Standards, both pretty deadly in CC.

-Also, remember that since you are taking the Rhino as a Dedicated Transport for the Wolf Guard, the Inquisitor and his/her gang can't deploy in it.

-Otherwise, it looks like a fun and interesting army. Here's hoping that your Razorbacks don't all get popped and your Grey Hunters don't get blown away from long-range firepower.

Me: I can turn it down, if the screams of dying orks are annoying you.
Her: That's ok, I love hearing the screams of dying orks.

My armies (W-D-L):
2,000 (about 1,200 painted and now I'm feeling the call of Russ) 3-4-3
2,000 (about 1,000 painted, WiP) 0-1

The Space Wolves FAQ has deemed characters on Thunderwolves to be Toughness 5, not 4(5), so you should probably drop Saga of the Bear. How many strength 10 attacks are you likely to face, anyway?

DH,WH can use SW as alies. SM Can have WH as alies but No SoB and Marines together. confusing rule. codex WH pg 25.
I don't know where Alies points come from. Old Ed it was out of heavy support.
Mark of the Wulfen, d6+1 rending attacks is worth the 15 points.

It is important to have some heavy firepower.
I got my SW destroyed by a Vindicator (just bad luck) and a LR. I lost 4 Razerbacks and a Rhino mostly to the LR by turn 2.
I should sell my deviation dice on ebay. When ever I loan it to a opponent it always rolls the hit.
