I am new to using this magical puddy stuff, but when I use it it seems to be dry and hard. Should I be adding water? I tried it for the first time Saturday to fill some spaces in an Ironclad Dread and it was difficult to use a small amount of it. There might be nothing I'm doing wrong, but, basically, how do you use Green Stuff?

Are you using the GW premeasured stuff or from another source? If it's too hard right after kneading it, you might want to add more yellow. Yes, it will be dry though.
