Does a Chaos Land Raider still take up a Heavy Support choice if i use it as a transport? I don't see the option for a Dedicated Transport anywhere....?
Did i overlook it perhaps

A chaos land raider may be taken as either a Heavy Support choice, or as a dedicated transport for a squad of Chaos Terminators. IIRC, there are no other units that can take it as a dedicated transport.

Correct. Only termies can take it as a transport, if you do this it does not take up a heavy support slot.

Dedicated transports generally do not take up a FoC slot. Cannot think off the top of my head one that does (except perhaps a Tau Devilfish, but that's if your playing Analhammerthatevengwarwouldnottry 40,000.

What's wrogn with it? If you want to spend 220 points on a trasnport then why not. especially if it means i can field a LR and 3 vindis in one list.

Naw Duude. 6 Land Raiders iz where its at! 3 Transports, 3 HS. 6 Squads of Berserkers and Deep Strike in the Termies.

Lol. If i had 6 Land raiders that woudl definately be an option i woudl look at for big games. As it is i onlyhave 1 (and a crusader for apoc games)

Plus in apoc i always DSD the termeis as i deploy them in the annihilation force formation (DS 15 termies + termie lord = fun)

am i able to Put my Termiantor Lord in the Squad of 4 Termis and still be able to take the Dedicated Land Raider? cus i'm planning to use them in agame on the 30th. Land raider with Termi lord of khorne with Bloodfeeder, 4 Termis with (i think!) a pair of lightning claws or just 3 of them have the LC and 1 has a HF i forgetz :-P

Well, one squad wants to stay still while the other wants to move forwards - so yes.

Yes, the IC becomes part of the unit so it still only transports a single unit. As long as you do not exceed the transport capacity you wil be fine.

Pinning, Fallback, Sweeping, for an important combat unit with the HQ, it's suseptable to some very basic things.

Unlikely, but if placed in a situation where they come up, it will happen.
I'm more of a person who won't take chances...and Termies + Lord have been underwhelming for me though...LR or not.
