Hi, just wondering if anyone knows what's going on with the Legion of the damned models at the moment and GW's intentions for them. Will it be possible to make an army with them or will they only be available as elites in space marine forces?

Pretre: OOOOHHHHH snap. That's like driving away from hitting a pedestrian.
Pacific:First person to Photoshop a GW store into the streets of Kabul wins the thread.

you can play them as singel arme but thats very expensie. And you have to play them with the normal rules of the SMs.

The easy way to play them is as elit choose in a SM army.

Pretty much what Nighthaunter said.

Easy: use them as SM Elites choice.
Expensive: using them as 'count as' pieces... either a whole army or just the 'veterans' who are LoTD.
Otherwise: not likely GW is gonna do anything with them specifically beyond the SM elites choice as it is now...but there is an Apoc. Datasheet for the LoTD...

This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.
There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
