Can we all at least pretend we don't have illegal copies of the book and wait 3 days to open the rules floodgate?

Well, I have a real copy of the codex and not an illegal one....

umm... alot of people have theirs already, thanks to Pre-orders. and just about every store should have a preview copy by now.

Thanks to GW printing errors and general lack of caring about the Tyranid release overall, the actual books came out before the preview copies. A lot of us have the real things.

Yeah, if the stores had gotten their preview copies back in December when they were expecting them, Gwar would have a 20 page FAQ by now...

And was there a rules question the OP wanted to ask?

Protip: Some of us are speshul and have friends. Through these friends we meet other friends who can get us copies of codexes before they go on general sale. I personally, being a Space Wolf player for the last decade, pulled in a few favours and managed to get my SW copy 3 weeks before it went on general sale.

A week later I published an FAQ, and the rest is history

And yeah, I have my copy already
