I have seen the light... I have seen Orks win at my LFGS for the first time and realized that it is not that I fail or Orks fail but the Local Meta knows how to deal with footsloggin list...

The Solution is Transports to Gain the Charge.... Luckily I have all the models in the list so all I need to buy is 3 Battlewagons and a single Trukk...

I would suggest taking out the Lootas for either Burnas in a battlewagon or another squad of Kommandos. If you do that, this list would be dead killy. Right now the only problem im seeing is the lack of PKs and Power weapons to take out MCs and Armor. Maybe drop a squad of Boyz for some Nobz. Also, I would get Snikrot...hes just awesome.

Overall an awesome list.

What do you mean he's lacking PKs? He has a PK in each squad that can have one. I'd suggest RPJ on your Trukks, as that extra inch can make all the difference between being in assault range or not. Not sure why you have both 'eavy Armour and Cybork Body on your Mek, he really only needs one and the Cybork Body is so much better than the Armour. I've never really played with or seen anyone play with Kommandos, so I can't really say how they'd fair. I would, however, suggest either a squad of Nobz or MegaNobz.

I read the statement from Bad_Sheep37 to mean, "Where is your warboss/Thraka, and why aren't you fielding him?" I might have read too much into it, but that's the missing pk when compared to any ordinary kos list.

@Argnoth
Why would you suggest putting in Mega Nobz or Nobz if you already feel that he has enough PKs?

@Carnuss
Thats exactly what I was talking about.

@OP
If you take an Ork list with no Nobz or atleast some kind of Mob with MASS PKs, then your not going to hardly pop anything. You cant rely on 3 PK attacks to take down a vehicle.

I truely think your list is awesome and tough, but it is lacking those Mass PK attacks a.k.a Nobz for MCs, and Vehicles. Even if you cant jusify taking nobz to pop tanks, whats your plan for MCs when your going against Nids? Yes lootas are awesome, but with this list, their going to be VERY limited with what they can shoot at after turn 1. You should be smacking the enemies line on turn 2.

Hope this helped and cleared up some confusion.

Oh one more thing. Save the RPJ on the trukks. They can already move 18 inches...its not needed. The red paint on the BWs is needed...not the trukks

About Kommandos: Their amazing. If you can find room for Snikrot...even more awesome. Shooty armies are going to try and dance around you after turn 2. Since most things will be out of transports and having to load back up. This gives the other army time to create some distance from you. With the Kommandos outflanking, it gives your opponent VERY limited space to run. Def. keep them!

I can see dropping the Lootas and the 'eavy armor but I just cannot see myself using Thrakka...

I tried him out last night and I think he is best if you are running Meganobs... and I am running more boyz and trukks instead of Meganobz... currently I like the Idea of kommandos but 45 of them... Isn't that a bit much??

As for Snikrot... he just has not been that powerful... He cost as much as a land raider but just does not have the offensive potential of a landraider without having power weapons... sure you hit on 3+ rerollable... and wound infantry on a 2+ with 6 attacks... at I4 wait... what?

I guess by dropping the lootas... and the Eavy armor I could purchase another unit of Kommandos with Snikrot...

13 Kommandos: Slugga & Choppa, 1 Burna, Stikk Bombs
Snikrot: Mork's Teeth

Will Update the List.

What list would give this list the most trouble and other than just lose... what should I do?

If your going to run that many Kommandos, I would suggest dropping some boyz for Nobz. I mean Kommandos are just boyz that can outflank, and you dont need 120 boyz in a Mech list. Even if you drop 1 squad of boyz for some Nobz, i think it would go a long way.

Other than that, this list looks really scary with the added Kommandos...awesome job man.

Played with a tweaked version of a friend's list [fixed the glaring bugs with it]

It ran the following as the core of the army...

1380 Points

01 Ghazghkull Thraka
01 Mad Dok Grotsnik
08 Mega Nobz: Cybork Bodies
Battle Wagon: Big Shoota, Grabbin Klaw, Boarding Planks

20 Boyz: Slugga & Choppa
Nob: Powerklaw & Boss pole
Battle Wagon: Big Shoota, Grabbin Klaw, Boarding Planks

20 Boyz: Slugga & Choppa
Nob: Powerklaw & Boss pole
Battle Wagon: Big Shoota, Grabbin Klaw, Boarding Planks

Red Paint Job was not needed since it was not hard to hit assaults on T2... T3 if I want to pop transports without getting out... Running Away means I ram you with a S8 attack then possibly assault...

Thoughts on this?

Awesome List. For this points level, I dont see much of anything bringing you down.

The only thing i would suggest is swapping out Mad Dok for a KFF Mech. This will keep your wagons alive much longer.
