Hi all, a while back i bought and built a carnifex just because i love the model. With the new codex coming out i've decided to play nids, the only problem is that i've modeled my carnifex with two pairs of scything talons (cause the look so awesome ) but it seems that heavy venom cannons are going to be the weapon of choice for them. Do you guys think it would be possible (and acceptable) to model it with six arms so that it could field either two set of talons or a set and a venom cannon. It seems odd but i've also built a wraith lord with every weapon option available, i'm just a little stumped on how you would do this.

i would advise magnetizing it. I don't rate carnifex's at all in this codex to be honest, 160points minimum, no more 113pt dakkafex :(

However, if i had points to spare, i'd probably put a melee fex or two in a droppod.

luckily i magnetized all of mine!

an old post of mine

sadly i never got round to finishing this, not sure if i will, who knows, that youtube video that got posted pretty much removed the need for it

Maybe shoulder mount some V cannons - make it look like they are growing out of its back?

Don't use a Heavy Venom Cannon on a Fex, not really worth it. In fact, right now my weapons of choice would Be two sets of Scything Talons.
