I have choice of Eldar, Marine, Space Wolves, Chaos Marine or Guard. Needs to be at least one troop choice, no named characters and no more than two wounds per figure, anything else is fine.

Right now I'm leaning towards either an Eldar force of 10x Wraithguard with Spiritseer and 5x Scouts for the shock value or a Space Wolves force of 3x 5 Grey Hunters with a Wolf Guard in Terminator armour attatched to each and a Rune Priest...

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Cheers, Mick

Orks, though they aren't listed, would be able to field 2 groups of 30 shootas, each equipped with nob, PK, bp, and some rokkits to deal with anything that can't be dealt with by hordes of S4 shots.

I think IG probably wins with a massive number of basic troops and commissars. Their models are so cheap that you can deluge the opponent with bullets.

what about a SM bike army take a captain with a bike then as many other bikers as possible, you can turbo boost behind covers til your ready to strike add a powerfist and a meltagun to deal with tanks or anything you may need double toughness against?

I think that total AV is supposed to be 33 or less making the serpents illegal. Eitherway the farseer has 3 wounds making it illegal.

However, if you are allowed to have an AV higher than 33 simply go with SM and get a LRR with a MM, 2 Dakka preds and a scout squad.

I cannot believe in a God who wants to be praised all the time.

Well, Scouts means Rangers, right?
WG needs to be supported in order to shine, say by a Fortuneseer or a cc unit like Harlies.
But obviously you can't take an Eldar HQ.
