I have never played a serious torunemant before and i am a little bit nervous about waht to take to WIN!

1750 points use normal FOC and anything goes.

500 points Limatations are:
Only ONE HQ allowed
2-3 Troops
0-1 Elites
0-1 Fast Attack
0-1 Heavy Support
Maximum of 3+ armour save
Maximum Armour Value of 33 on any individual vehicle
Maximum of 2 Psychic Powers
Monstrous Creatures are NOT allowed

Do Herald's count as MC? If so then you don't have any HQ choices that qualify for the MC restriction on the 500 Point List.

At 1750 Points I like to play a combination of Horrors and Plaguebearers. The Nurgle troops are really good at tangling up opposing units and the Horros (with a Changeling and a Bolt of Tzeentch) can provide impressive firepower.

No the Heralds count as Infantry unless they get a mount upgrade. i only have a Chariot for the HOK and a Disc for the HOT. so thats Cavalry and Jump Infantry Respectivly
