Hey all! I am brand new to the Warhammer 40k hobby, and I am looking to pick up some paint supplies. The local retailers in my area (Kansas City, MO) mostly carry the Testors brand and their high end line Master Model. I was hoping to get your insight if this is a good brand to buy for a beginner or if I should drive the 30 miles to buy Citadel, or go online to order some other brand like Vallejo?

If there is a Michael's art store close to you, the paints there are fine. But if not the testor paint is also fine. You don't need to to get the citadel paints.

Testor paints tend to be a little move vivid than Citadel and, except for certain metallics that they don't carry, I prefer them to Citadel.
