Scatter lasers? Aren't those Eldar weapons, or do you mean IG multilasers?
If you are using multilasers, however, you have to give them to Terminators. It's the rules.

It's a reference to C. S. Goto's novels, which feature multi-laser toting Space Marines, backflipping Terminators, tank-surfing, and various other, equally ridiculous things. I need to write up stats for Goto Marines one of these days. . .

Really
backflipping terminators sounds terribly unfluffy.
Multilasers would be on Ancient suits of terminator armor at the best streatches of fluffyness

No, you see, Tactical Marines has multi-lasers as they're main weapon.
Aswell, a terminator is best friends with a Kaskrkin, and they tank surf on a Landrazor, A RazorRaider, it turns into a Razorback, and then a Landraider, and back again in-between paragraphs.
Did I mention Back-flipping terminators?

Goto, dealing threads from beyond the MULTILAZOR Universe.
I have a nagging feeling that The Magos and Archmagos Toughness needs to be reduced, then allow instant death (bear with me) but having the enhancements their bodies have provide +1 fake toughness and an inv save added to give them more protection against high T weapons etc.
My logic goes like this: Whilst they have adapted their bodies and have purged the weak flesh from their bodies the technology they are using is still subject to some of the normal frailties of human flesh mechanical heart stops beating just a like a real heart when hit my a bolter round, lasgun shot and immolated by lascannon and melta shots. What Magos do have is access to to technologies that reduce the effectiveness of weapons, deflecting them, blocking them or rendering weapons inert in the form of force fields, phase shielding, and highly specialised sensors that can detect incoming fire etc.
Apologies if you have covered this but it wasn't clear through the Augmetics rules if +1T was a natural stat or an add on.

It would be natural toughness. the logic is that a techpriest could live without his heart/lungs for a short period and having any other non-vital part is fine. he could easily get a replacement later. or prehaps he has multiple organs allowing him to go on fighting.
By the time a guy reaches Archmagos he is likely to be a Brain in a suit and so can still function without certain parts.
The trade off needs to be takien into consideration. for 15 pts a magos can only be IDd by a Railgun or DCCW, a archmagos can only be IDd by a Force weapon. they both become fearless however they lose an Inititive point.
prehaps my base cost for the magos is too low? 150 sound better
