I'm just wondering, has anyone tried a loadout of 4/5 Stormbolters in your Command squad? On paper, it doesn't seem that bad an idea, let me lay out the benefits:

- This squad has a 30" kill zone (since they can move AND fire), which means they can be contributing to the battle from potentially turn one with 10 Boltgun shots. No worrying about their paper rhino being popped and having to spend half the game running them to where they can be used!
- The low cost of the storm bolter means that you have a highly durable, and modestly mobile unit 130pts
- Assault 2 weapons means that each marine on the charge has essentially 4 Attacks

Any oppinons? Is it crazy enough, it might just work? Or just crazy?

If you really want a flexible/maneuver unit like this, I'd just take Grey Knights. Storm bolters aren't a very good option on Command Squads, since you give up the potential to have several other desirable options in order to take them.
