OK, it's a bit of strech but Imperial Armor allowed taking Valks as transports for Inquisition Storm Troops. Is that a legal, normal option? Can players use the Valk in the IG codex for them?

If you allow Imperial Armour, you can use the Imperial Armour rules for them. You CANNOT use the IG rules, unless you are playing IG with =][= Allies, then you can take Valks and embark the allies on them.

If you take IG as inducted allies or Inquisition as allies to IG then there is nothing against it. However in regular 40k you can't if you want a pure Inquisition army.

However I think you could take JUST a valk as your only inducted guard in which case the only restriction o what goes in it is o terminators iirc.

Trade rules: lower rep trades ships 1st. - I ship within 2 business days, if it will be longer I will contact you & explain. - I will NOT lie on customs forms, it's a felony, do not ask me to mark sales as "gifts". Free shipping applies to contiguous US states.

Only one way, unfortunately. If you take IG with Inq allies, it's legal, but if you take an Inq army, Valkyries are NOT listed in the list of troops you can requisition.

IA is legal, but some tournaments would disallow it, and you have to use the IA rules in any case...

Ah my mistake, forgot about that list, haven't flipped through my DH codex in a long time.

Since the IA2 update the rules for the valk are the same in 40K and IA.

So if IA is allowed then yes, otherwise only in an IG army with =I= allies.
